He launched an agriculture futures trading portfolio managing over $100mn at a major commodity trading firm. Sid was the first analyst at a startup commodity hedge fund, which grew to manage over $600mn in assets. He was Vice President of Interest Rates Strategy at J.P. Morgan.
Sid authored the well-received book "Interest Rate Markets", published in both English and Mandarin. He has taught financial markets at NYU and was on the board of a non-profit working with inner city youth. Sid graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. Cum Laude in Applied Mathematics and M.A. in Statistics as part of a 4-year combined degree program.

CTOBen began programming on his own at age 12, and started his first business when he was 16. He went to Stuyvesant High School in NYC where he took advantage of Stuy’s computer science program. By age 18 he had already built a rudimentary chess computer and a graphics engine.
Ben received his BA from McGill University. During college, he worked as a mapping engineer at Citymaps ($12 million in funding, acquired by TripAdvisor in 2016).
In 2012, Ben co-founded Simply Grid, an on-demand electricity provider, where he helped build charging pedestals for food trucks and managed relationships with installation owners.
In 2014, Simply Grid was acquired by MOVE Systems ($30 million in funding to date). At MOVE, Ben has worked on software projects for mobile, web, and IoT platforms in both engineering and managerial roles. He has also worked on several computer hardware projects.
In 2017, Ben participated in the pilot episode of a tech focused reality show, which is set to air on a major broadcast network in the fall.
CFO & COOPhilippe brings decades of senior executive experience in commodities and emerging markets. He has been investing in assets across emerging markets including Asia, Africa, and FSU since 2001.
Philippe is an ex-partner at the commodities trading unit at AIG, one of the largest insurance companies in the world. He is a contributor to the discourse on blockchain technology including published articles.
In addition, Philippe has been a member of the NY Board of Trade Commodity Exchange and is former President Circle member of Asia Society.

Julie is the Executive Director of the Ag Claims Association focusing on educating and informing adjusters on Farm & Ranch (agricultural) claims through the Ag Claims Conference, on-line training modules, the Association’s website and, social media.
Julie grew up on a farm in Northwest Indiana before graduating with a B.S. from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. She owned and ran a 600 farrow-to-finish hog operation, served as a contract adjuster, regional claims manager, and national claims manager in the crop insurance sector.

Head of StructuringJohn Coleman has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry and served the last 8 years as Director of Structuring at eWeatherRisk. Mr. Coleman spends his time developing weather programs to support underserved crops and regions where federal crop insurance or prevailing risk management solutions are limited, costly, or simply unavailable. Mr. Coleman is an expert in developing and deploying programs across the agricultural space and has successfully piloted and launched numerous first-in-kind programs to protect against weather-related risks to agriculture including high temperatures on corn and rice pollination, excess rain on hay production, and cold temperatures during apple bloom. Mr. Coleman graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Finance, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of Kansas City. Mr. Coleman spends his free time volunteering in his church and several other charitable community organizations aimed at developing youth from the inner city, and enjoys exercising, cycling, and cheering on his hometown’s St. Louis Blues hockey team.
Data ScientistJeff Gibson merges software engineering and data science to develop successful products for the market. With eWeatherRisk, he developed a number of new weather products for the agricultural space. Prior to that, Jeff was a principle software engineer at EMC and the product owner for a product sold mainly to Fortune 500 companies. He has over 20 years experience from start ups to large companies starting from concept, navigating through development, and launching successfully to the market.
Independent DirectorJulius Krein is the editor of American Affairs, a quarterly journal of political thought and policy he founded in 2017. He has written for the New York Times, Washington Post, and other publications, and he is a frequent television guest with appearances on NBC's Meet the Press, CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS, BBC News, and other programs.
Krein began his career at the Blackstone Group and was an investment analyst at leading alternative asset managers and a family office. From 2017–18, he served on the board of a private defense and aeronautics manufacturer.
Krein graduated from Harvard College in 2008.
